Summary: Bulla's BBS post invited everyone to her birthday party on Feb.5th. It is now party time



It was unfortunate that her birthday party clashed with the festival, but it seemed like there was a pretty good turnout so far. There were cadets from her classes, cadets and staff she had seen around in the hallways, and a few people she had never met before. Bulla had taken care to make sure there were things to do. On one end of the place she'd made reservations at, there was karaoke. In another corner, drinks and food could be purchased. In a third, people were playing games, and the fourth area was a sectioned off area for quieter conversation.

As for Bulla herself, she was going around and mingling with everyone. It was important to be a gracious hostess, after all, so she was making the effort to ensure that everyone had a good time, and if that wasn't possible, that their experience wasn't a miserable one.

Yup.

I'm not as big a drinker as my Pops or most of the crew, but I can hold my own, eh. He's the biggest alcoholic I ever knew. And I know of a lot of old pirates.

I don't think anyone in my family is really much of a drinker. That's probably just as well. My dad's got a bit of a temper. I could see him getting into bar room brawls all too easily.

Yeah, kind of. Once he ripped the steering wheel off a car two boys were in because they were flirting with me. They weren't hurt or anything, but...yeah. Okay, he's pretty overprotective.

Yeah...my parents had a fling at first, and got married years later. Dad was still in the de-jerkification process when Trunks was a baby.

He used to be pretty self-centered and about as proud as you might expect a prince of a warrior people to be. He barely bothered to even acknowledge Trunks at first and called my mom 'woman' instead of by her name. Gradually, he started caring about people - my mom, my brother, his rival and friend Goku...

He's still got that pride, but he mellowed out, and was a pretty great dad to me.
