I ain't gonna be just a face in the crowd, you're gonna hear my voice when I shout it out loud
Characters: All staff and students at Garden.
Location: Balamb Town, Feb. 5th all day
Rating: PG to PG-13
Open/Closed/Finished: Open, ongoing
Summary: Bulla's BBS post invited everyone to her birthday party on Feb.5th. It is now party time
It was unfortunate that her birthday party clashed with the festival, but it seemed like there was a pretty good turnout so far. There were cadets from her classes, cadets and staff she had seen around in the hallways, and a few people she had never met before. Bulla had taken care to make sure there were things to do. On one end of the place she'd made reservations at, there was karaoke. In another corner, drinks and food could be purchased. In a third, people were playing games, and the fourth area was a sectioned off area for quieter conversation.
As for Bulla herself, she was going around and mingling with everyone. It was important to be a gracious hostess, after all, so she was making the effort to ensure that everyone had a good time, and if that wasn't possible, that their experience wasn't a miserable one.

Besides, that's why I respected Pops so much. He wasn't just strong, he was wise and brilliant.

Well, it's rare to get someone powerful who does use their brain, eh -- []

He'd have to. Only way to stay alive in our world, eh. Especially the only way to keep the rest of us safe with how much everyone wanted to assassinate him.

I guess. Wish I could've met him, even if just to see if he lives up to the expectations you've handed me.

Yeah.
Well...
Ace was here... for a bit. [Is that almost a tremble in his unshakable calm.] The only thing left needed is for Thatch to show up. [Oh yeah, that's what Marco looks shook up. It kind of looks the same really.]

Mighty was here for a bit.

That drink had alcohol in it, didn't it?
[]
Ah well. Only two months until it'd be legal to drink in New Tek anyway, so who cares?

Pirate. In my world, minors drink if they want to. There's not exactly laws against it. I keep forgetting that's not true for everyone else here. So bizarre. It'd be like banning cigarettes. Sure they're not good for you, but neither is coffee if you overdo it.

At least I don't have to take responsibility right now. I'll just blame you and your underhanded tactics. Fair, right?

So, you gonna get back to the whole "enjoying the party" thing, or what?
no subject
I thought I already was, eh?

Talking to me?

Someone has to be the responsible one. Let me decide what I find fun.

Even Shanks. Although to be fair, that's probably more like aggravation and confusion.

Please yourself. At least it saves me the pain of listening to you sing karaoke.
