Summary: A monthly meeting between Headmaster Cid and the SeeDs.

[Sitting at the head of the table is the Headmaster. He holds the newsletter in hand, glancing over it while he waits for his SeeDs and Instructors to arrive. A clipboard sits at his side while there are pitchers of ice-cold water and glasses set in the center for anyone who finds themselves thirsty in the middle of the meeting.]

[Cid shakes his head.]

It's not good news at all-- Balamb Garden was targeted by missiles the same time that Trabia had been hit, but fortunately we managed to activate the flying mechanism of the school to avoid the hit just in time. It's troublesome to hear that Galbadia may be utilizing such destructive weapons again...

[She's still not sure just what a missile does, but then she'd been surprise by the concept of flying buildings before not to mention all the technology this world has to offer. So that's not exactly a big deal.]

Is there no magic that can be used against these missiles?

Unfortunately even our defense para-magic can do so much-- they can't withstand the force and power of a missile.

Does that mean attack para-magic is useless as well? There's no way to use Aeroa to blow them off course?

[She frowns, thinking about this for a moment.] Or asking a Guardian Force for help? Something like Leviathan so the missiles can be washed away?

[Someone doesn't know how missiles work, but she's trying.]

I believe the force behind the missile would be too much. Of course we've never attempted to halt a missile's course with such options, however, that is a risk I'm not willing to take.

[Cid offers her a smile.]

If it's alright with you, I'd still like to mention this to the GFs in the future. They might have some insight into this that no one else has thought of before now.
