Summary: Being a concerned citizen, Wally wants to make sure that Mikuru's bunny outfit goes to a good home.

[Being a speedster is very handy in this situation, because who knows how many strange looks Wally would have gotten, had people seem him with the scandalous bunny outfit. He comes screeching to a halt outside of Artemis' dorm, and knocks on the door loudly.]

Artemis! Hey, it's me!

[The banging gets obnoxious quickly so it's not long before Artemis answers the door. It's been domestic duty day so she's been doing all sort of productive things like laundry and cleaning. Which means this is probably the first time he's seen her in sweatpants and a tanktop. Not that the tanktop is news, but the sweats are another matter.]

What is it, Wally.

[She opens the door and her eyes narrow suspiciously at what he's holding. What on earth is that? There's also totally a smudge of dirt on one cheek.]

[flashesforward]

Someone was giving this away and I thought of you.

[Flashes her a big ol' grin as he holds the bunny outfit up. Under normal circumstances, he'd notice the smudge. But right now, he might be daydreaming about her wearing the outfit.]

[Everyone probably sees this coming except for Wally. She looks at the costume, back at Wally, and then promptly slams her door shut in his face.]

[Guess what that means, Wally?]

[flashesforward]

[Blinks and jumps back a couple of steps. Eyes the costume and then eyes the door.]

...Is it because it's not green? That'd be an easy fix, you know.

[She almost, almost ignores him, but she figures that'll just encourage him to keep trying.]

Go away Wally.

[flashesforward]

And what? Bring it back to my room with me? It's one thing for me to give it to you, it's another thing for me to have it in my room by my lonesome. My roommate'll think I'm a creeper, you don't want that, do you?

[She stomps back over and opens up the door.]

You are such a wuss. Give it here.

[She rolls her eyes and grabs it from him.]

[Peeks his head inside of the room once she snatches the outfit from him. He finds himself grinning as it looks like she's the only one who has ever occupied this place.]

If you don't like it...you can always put it in whatever place your ol' roommate's stuff got stored away. I mean, we might go poof from here, but our stuff stays.

[She tries to fold her arms over her chest, but with the costume in hand it's kind of impossible so she sighs and heads into the room to find a place to shove the abomination.]

Don't you have anything better to do then find tacky costumes you want to force me into?

At least I'm thinking about you, that has to count for something, right?

[Flashes her a hopeful grin.]

And what's wrong with babe? It beats the other lame nick names, like cupcake or darling.

[More linefacing in response to that grin.]

[Oh god if he called her something like darling or cupcake she'd probably punch him.]

It's not like I was creeping around, thinking about what other girls would look like in it! There are whole--never mind. [Saying there are entire stores dedicated to costumes and such of this nature for couples isn't going to help his cause.]

Does that mean you're not going to call me Kid Mouth any more or anything like that? [Sneaks in a grin.]

[The look she shows him is one that's obviously not impressed. You could even say it was pressed perhaps.]

So I'm supposed to be happy that you're only being a creepy perv about me? Kid Clueless suits you better than I realized.

[Yeah, that answers that question doesn't it. Which is probably hypocritical, but ask her if she cares.]

[Somewhere, some place, Robin just gave her the thumbs up.]

[She's not stupid, that much was obvious.]

[Artemis falls silent for a while, nostrils flaring slightly as she scowls at him. Then she slaps on this rather creepy, sugary sweet smile just for him.]

Whatever you say, Wallace dear.

[Yes, she went there. What now?]

[Don't mind him as he just sort of...staaares at her. He's not sure how to react to her when she says that. The words themselves are nice but when she uses that creepy smile...not sure if want.]

[She's not the only one who can play this game although the "sweet" smile he slaps onto his face looks awkward.]

[She's going to make herself hurl if she has to keep this up much longer. Is that what he really wants? Because she'd make sure it lands on him somehow if she does.]

[Okay and she might have a very slight eye twitch going on right now.]

[No, Wally is experiencing so much do not want at the moment. From her creepy smile to her wanting to hurl. Especially the hurling part, that would be no bueno.

Oh ho, he spots that eye twitch and now he's grinning. He slips an arm over her shoulder and his smile has gone from awkward to more like her own.]

Babycakes, the only thing that would make this better would be if you laid some sugar on me.

[More eyetwitching of a violent sort. Much more of this and she might give up and just punch him. Punching is good, she likes punching things after all.]

Oh is that all? I think I could help you with that teddy bear~

[Which is the truth, she's been doing a lot of baking lately so had bought her own sugar so she doesn't have to use Garden's.]
