Summary: Luna has found out that her old buddy is around and decides to hang about and pester him in the best way she knows how.

Luna couldn't help her excitement as she perched herself on the stage, rolling onto her back and spreading her wings beneath her. This was the most 'fun' she would allow herself, grinning at the ceiling above her, amused about how familiar everything still was to her. Everything had barely changed, leaving her with her memories of what was around and how to get there.

Now it was a matter of waiting for Jecht to get there, knowing full well that she'd probably pester the man as much as she possibly could. He messed about just as much as she did, even if Luna never really let that side of her be seen to the general public.

Legs pulled in close to her body, tail flicking back and forth against the floor in anticipation.

"Heh... sorry, I've been distracted. Trying to get a blitz team together, y'know."

Having adequately tormented her, such as it was, for stealing his bandana, he let the alicorn go, then swept his hair back again to tie it back once more. "You did all right out there? No one gave ya too hard a time 'cuz you're a pony?"

"Anyone interested in it? We would be if We... had... hands. Though it would be awkward to be underwater with wings anyway."

Oh good, he let go. She huffs a bit at him, hovering a bit to actually look him face-to-face this go around. "Not for the most part. We had a few try to attack us thinking We were a beast, though they were... Quickly dispatched of."

"Heh, serves 'em right. Whatever they were thinkin', they were stupid for thinkin' it. You probably let 'em off easier than I would've," he said, flexing a fist.

"So you back to teachin', now?"

"We felt little need to do much damage to them, merely put them in a tree with no way down." No, Luna, that is not being nice to anyone, what even.

"We are, yes! Drama as well as Speech and Conduct, appropriate, no?"

"Hey, don't tell too many of your student to use that voice," he said, putting a hand to his bandana like he was afraid of losing it (just like he had the first time she'd used the full Royal Canterlot Voice on him, way back when. Damn thing went flying!).

"Drama, though... hey, you pick somethin' interesting and maybe even I'll come see it!"

Oh come on now, it wasn't that bad since it only made the bandana go flying and nothing else. Pony sure had a set of lungs on her when she wished to.

A small bit of a laugh is what he gets in return, raising one hoof in a dramatic mocking manner. "Oh heavens We wouldn't ever think of picking something boring for the sportsman. Of course it will be full of drama and action."

"But no sports, huh? I dunno..." Jecht made a show of great consideration, as if seeing her students' performance really hinged on that.

"Come, come, you know there is more to life than sports. They are all well and good, but there is something to be said of theatre and other intellectual ventures." Really, she wasn't taking this serious, particularly considering she made a show of moving to his side and bumping at him with her hips.

Jecht crossed his arms stubbornly, refusing to be checked by her bump.

"Name one thing better than blitzball."

Try to ignore the mischievous gleam in his eyes, it will be easier to take him seriously if you do!

Yeah, she's not really believing any of this and is having more fun just poking at him. Probably the most fun she's had lately.

"Me, of course," she replied, faking a soft little huff.

"Theatre does have a charm to it, it makes one think. Though We admit it sounds rather interesting to watch this blitzball of your's."

That claim earned a good-natured laugh out of Jecht. "Ain't any swimming involved in dealin' with you!" he said, elbowing the pony a little more firmly than a Princess was typically treated.

"Still, probably not gonna be much blitzball to watch any time soon, so I guess I'm gonna be seeing your plays instead."

Which got a bit of a squeak out of her, moving away from his side and poking her hoof at his shoulder.

"Swimming perhaps not, but flying is another story. Not that you can do much of that, hm?~" She teased in turn, though her joking comment died down for her next bit.

"If We can get anyone interested in it. May take an unconventional route and teach others about the history of Equestria, it's quite fascinating."

"Heh. You know, I kinda think I don't like history."

Can you blame him? Once he'd found out Spira's own...

"Still, I guess a land of happy ponies can't be ALL bad. Probably a little less horrible than Spira."

"Oh shush, the history is very fascinating." Even if part of it involved how awful she'd been at one point. Whoops.

"Mmn. It is all rather nice other than the founding, Discord, my... little stunt as Nightmare Moon, and Discord's return."

"And all that ended well," Jecht said, mostly to himself.

He'd been told that his own story ended... decently, he supposed. But there was a difference between hearing it and living it. Till he did the latter, it was hard to believe things could get better.

"We would not think so. My time as Nightmare Moon ended with our being imprisoned on the moon for a thousand years, returning to seek vengeance upon my older sister, and an attempt to make it remain night forever."

If that was ending well, then she sure wondered what ending badly would look like.

"Though We suppose it did eventually lead to us being ripped of those evil times and being able to come back into society as ourself."

"Yeah, that's what I mean. In the end, despite all the stuff that happened, it worked out okay. You're here, not a monster, and you actually exist. Pretty good ending even if it was rough gettin' there," Jecht said with a thoughtful frown.

"Not being a monster is... questionable, considering how ponies continued to treat us and ran in fear of us. Who honestly knows how things will continue here, if We do not snap." She pauses a bit after that, tilting her head at him.

"We never did show you what that looked like, did We?"

"Nope, ya never did," he said, crossing his arms. "I was a little curious, though, I gotta admit... just wasn't gonna push it. It bugs you."

"Ah! It is no problem, We are able to change form between this and that at will. Even if it is a bit... odd to say." Comes with the territory of second most powerful magic pony thing or what have you.

Which, well, it really doesn't take long for her at all to get to that form, stretching her much larger wings out.

"... It does give me an idea, if you'd like to play along."

He blinked at the sudden transformation, though it really shouldn't surprise him. Luna was powerful... a lot more powerful than she let on. He could tell.

Curious, he walked a full circuit around this assumed form of hers, appraising it thoughtfully and comparing it to the Luna he knew.

Not surprising that he would do so and she'd certainly allow him to continue on with that little circuit. It was strange to have these wings again, stretching them to get used to them before hovering a bit above the ground. Ah, so much better.

"There are a few here who would remember me in this way, the things that had been done. But perhaps posing as a fake threat within the Garden could show that they are learning from someone worth their efforts in drama."

"Hmph. It ain't you," Jecht said, dismissing the form with those simply words as he came around front of her. "You'd get a kick out of that, though, wouldn't you?"

She had a wicked sense of humor. He liked that.

"Never said it was me. Perhaps I might age to look like this one day as my elder sister is about this tall." She shrugs a bit at him, though plops herself down to sit, hoof tapping lightly on the ground.

"And of course I would, it would make things a bit more... lively, don't you think?"

"Pfft, no way. Whatever this was, you're Luna, and you're gonna stay that way when you get older too." Jecht sounded absolutely sure of himself as he stuck out an elbow to lean on her head playfully.

"Not worried people might think you're really bad?"
