Summary: BEACH PARTY

Three days of sun, sand, and complete, unbridled fun--that was what Kiden had advertised, and she'd delivered. The slice of bright blue beach Nida had found for them stretched on one side into cliffs and a cove on the other, sheltered enough to be easily defensible but open enough not to make them targets. If they felt like exploring, well, the wildlife wasn't too much of a hassle, and apparently the jungle is lovely?

They had tents, food and drinks (lots of drinks) and plenty of other interesting things to last for the next three days--and Kiden, for one, was planning to make the most of it.

[Decked out in a t-shirt, red board shorts, and a pair of shades, Zephyr surveys the scene spread out in front of him. Sure, Fisherman's Horizon had already been pretty damn impressive with all that water, but this?

[Rose has carefully set herself up just above the tide line, where she can watch people be idiots with clarity yet remain dry. she's in a black cover-up and floppy black sunhat, and coupled with the purple beach umbrella she's huddled under looks very much like what a vampire would if vampires were classy and masochistic enough to go to the beach.

she has no intention of swimming, tanning, or moving from this spot for any reason. she has at least six books and is set. ready to watch people make themselves into fools, and do absolutely nothing fun herself

[First thing to do was set up his tent. That done, Zak has torn off his ratty grey t-shirt and launched himself at the water like a madman.

[Their tent is pitched up already, with all the stuff safely stored inside for both Riku and Kairi. Everything's pretty much set, except for the food.

Which is pretty much why Riku's out wading up to his knees in the water with nothing but a pair of black swim trunks and his long hair messily gathered into a low ponytail.

[So, the pirates who never use the BBS were not aware that this was happening and, thus, had nothing with them other than the usual clothes on their backs and their usual arsenals.

They're only here because at the time, they were sneaking around that airship trying to figure out how to steal it. Bit of a surprise to the pair when every SeeD, cadet and their mothers started to board the ship while the pair of them hid from sight as it took off.

So now they're here, looking out at the large expanse of sea and sand, and Marvelous looks over to Joe with a slight scowl.

[ And because she was so nicely coaxed by her friend and the rodent, one such princess has found herself lounging out on a deck chair (How she managed to bring that, we'll never know) under a parasol (ditto on that. Banking on magical demi-goddess powers of materialization.) with the laziest look ever. Yep. Leave the tent setting up and things to the two. She needed a break.

It's been a while since she's been out and about anyway. ]

[ Vanille had been so excited on the plane ride she'd barely been able to contain herself; now that she was actually on the beach, doing so had become a futile effort. Rushing around, she quickly sets up her tent, making sure everything inside is just right before ducking in to change. When she comes out sporting a rather colorful swimsuit she spares little time with rubbing in the sunscreen everyone had suggested before making a dash for the water, kicking up sand in her wake.

She nearly trips into it as she reaches the shore skidding to a stop and flailing her arms around as her toes disappear under a tiny wave. Regaining her balance, she lifts her arms up and over her head, exhaling happily. ]

[No one had really expected her to come. Heck , she hadn't expected herself to come , but there she is. There is a peaceful smile on her face. For the first time since she had arrived , Shelke looks really happy.]

But begrudging only lasts a moment. He tests the angled rockets on each rack and the fuses strung together, careful hands and without smokes for once. Hyper-aware of everything. [Joe isn't much a of a people-person. That being said, he's down the beach some, where there aren't many people, and the music isn't too loud.

He started a small bonfire for some light, stole a few bottles of booze (mostly rum) and some food, and expected to just relax a little.

Feel free to bother him-- bring a few people, start a game of Never-Have-I-Ever (or any drinking game you have in mind), or what have you.]
