Summary: A monthly meeting between Headmaster Cid and the SeeDs.

[Sitting at the head of the table is the Headmaster. He holds the newsletter in hand, glancing over it while he waits for his SeeDs and Instructors to arrive. A clipboard sits at his side while there are pitchers of ice-cold water and glasses set in the center for anyone who finds themselves thirsty in the middle of the meeting.]

[She waves back, moving to sit near Kurt. Forgive the nose twitch as it's been a while since they've seen each other and her senses are going to have to adjust.]

Pretty low. But then again, what's the odds of a dead body lacking any hint of it but a slight smell?

The usual. Everything went pretty much to plan, so boring and safe.

[He grins again.]

From what I've heard of the news, isn't it a good thing that our missions all went well?

It is, thankfully. But I'm worried about this. I'm not used to something I can't, you know, hit.

It worries me too. I don't like the idea that there are weapons there that we can't fight.

[He makes a confirming noise, closing his eyes in thought.]

I'm at a loss here, admittedly. I've never had to deal with, well, anything like this.

I'm glad that the humans of my world don't have this sort of technology. I'm not sure there would be much of Lodoss left if they did.

Heh, well. To be fair, my world's suffered dragons waging war and ripping it apart. I don't know how much missiles can do, I just know that at least with the dragons, we could FIGHT them.

Even the ancient dragons of my world could be fought. It's a risky and unwise decision to fight them, but it's possible.

To have something that people can't fight at all? It's unimaginable.
