first meeting
Character(s): Headmaster Cid, SeeDs and Instructors
Location: 3F Conference Room
Rating: PG?
Open/Closed/Finished: Open
Summary: A monthly meeting between Headmaster Cid and the SeeDs.
[Sitting at the head of the table is the Headmaster. He holds the newsletter in hand, glancing over it while he waits for his SeeDs and Instructors to arrive. A clipboard sits at his side while there are pitchers of ice-cold water and glasses set in the center for anyone who finds themselves thirsty in the middle of the meeting.]
[ooc; action tags or log-format are both acceptable; for any who wish to speak with the Headmaster, don't be shy, he doesn't bite!]

Re: BEFORE THE MEETING
[She's heard things during her missions naturally, but it's always good to hear from a reliable source after all.]

[Cid gestures to a seat off to the side.]
Please, sit. Make yourself comfortable. How were your missions?

I'm still not entirely sure what a missile is or does, but I know that it's not good news.
no subject
It's not good news at all-- Balamb Garden was targeted by missiles the same time that Trabia had been hit, but fortunately we managed to activate the flying mechanism of the school to avoid the hit just in time. It's troublesome to hear that Galbadia may be utilizing such destructive weapons again...
no subject
Is there no magic that can be used against these missiles?

no subject
[She frowns, thinking about this for a moment.] Or asking a Guardian Force for help? Something like Leviathan so the missiles can be washed away?
[Someone doesn't know how missiles work, but she's trying.]
no subject
[Cid offers her a smile.]
Nonetheless, they were good suggestions.

If it's alright with you, I'd still like to mention this to the GFs in the future. They might have some insight into this that no one else has thought of before now.
[She gives Cid an apologetic smile in return.]
If it was something I was more familiar with I'd be more helpful. Sorry.

What are the odds of us returning to Garden at the same time, I wonder.
no subject
[He's joking, and grins. It's nice to see her again.]
no subject
[She smiles at his depreciating sense of humor.]
How did your missions fare?
no subject
[He grins again.]
What about yours?
no subject
[Like their was any doubt about how her missions went?]

I'm at a loss here, admittedly. I've never had to deal with, well, anything like this.

I'm glad that the humans of my world don't have this sort of technology. I'm not sure there would be much of Lodoss left if they did.

Even the ancient dragons of my world could be fought. It's a risky and unwise decision to fight them, but it's possible.
To have something that people can't fight at all? It's unimaginable.
no subject
[He laces his arms behind his head.]
But I suppose that's why we're here.
no subject
[She looks around the room.]
Though I'm not sure what they hope to accomplish with this meeting.
[In her experience, humans as whole seem to have a lot of trouble making up their mind.]
