Summary: BEACH PARTY

Three days of sun, sand, and complete, unbridled fun--that was what Kiden had advertised, and she'd delivered. The slice of bright blue beach Nida had found for them stretched on one side into cliffs and a cove on the other, sheltered enough to be easily defensible but open enough not to make them targets. If they felt like exploring, well, the wildlife wasn't too much of a hassle, and apparently the jungle is lovely?

They had tents, food and drinks (lots of drinks) and plenty of other interesting things to last for the next three days--and Kiden, for one, was planning to make the most of it.

[ She catches the wriggling thing and tucks it in the basket with a breathed apology. She'll pull it out when it stops thrashing. ]

[ She realizes she hasn't...really seen Riku in a year. No duh, Kairi, but the difference is more startling than she'd expected. Of course, it's still Riku, nothing is awkward, but he's--they aren't exactly kids, anymore. ]

[ She lets her legs slide against his, ankles bumping together, feeling the soft prickliness of blonde hairs against her calves. The warmth of him makes her want to bury herself against him, so she does, one arm looping around his shoulders and the other palm flat against his exposed stomach.

The soft pads of his fingers against her ribs, her hip, makes her shiver against his mouth, and she presses closer still, half-tugging herself into his lap.

Which puts them utterly off-balance. Luckily there's a blanket and soft sand beneath them, because they're going down. ]

[Looking at the kid for a second, Marvelous just went back to his drink and the s'mores. He shared similar opinions of children that Joe had but, there were a few bratty kids out there that were amusing enough to get Marvelous' attention. This one? Not so much. He was more interested in the weasel declaring he was gonna go fishing.]

[Yukio freezes as he feels her arms embrace him, and it takes him a long, awkward moment to finally return the gesture, patting her stiffly on the arm. If the warmth in his cheeks is anything to go by, he's probably looking a fair bit embarrassed as well.]

Ah--right, the party... [He glances over at the other people, quietly wondering how wild this thing is going to become, especially considering who had organized it. Like Vanille, Yukio's not all that interested.] Hopefully, it doesn't get too out of hand.

[Zephyr falls back with a soft "oomph" and then momentarily freezes when his mind belatedly registers the warm weight on top of him. Thankfully, the hesitation dissolves into the delicious haze his mind's become again, and he's pliant once more, lazy and easy in his movements.

One hand settles in the small of her back, moving in slow circles, while the other finds a spot at the nape of her neck; his fingers toy with the edges of her hair.]
