PARTY LIKE A ROCK STAR

Character(s): ERRYBODY (who signed up! ...or who wants to come, just tag in guys s'all good)

Location: UP IN HERE (aka the beach in Galbadia)

Rating: THROUGH THE ROOF (G to R)

Open/Closed/Finished: OPEN LIKE A MINIBAR

Summary: BEACH PARTY

Three days of sun, sand, and complete, unbridled fun--that was what Kiden had advertised, and she'd delivered. The slice of bright blue beach Nida had found for them stretched on one side into cliffs and a cove on the other, sheltered enough to be easily defensible but open enough not to make them targets. If they felt like exploring, well, the wildlife wasn't too much of a hassle, and apparently the jungle is lovely?

They had tents, food and drinks (lots of drinks) and plenty of other interesting things to last for the next three days--and Kiden, for one, was planning to make the most of it.

[little bit of a smirk in return. this hasn't exactly been a great couple of weeks, but...this is helping.] Hardly, at least for the moment. If anything I'm just checking.

Checking on me? I can assure you that such concern is unwarranted; I know perfectly well how to layer myself to keep the sun from returning me to ancient dust. [your sister is, as always, happy to help. and snark, but that goes without saying.]

Need it be out of concern? Really now, I'm completely aware of your prowess in preserving yourself so you may stalk unsuspecting human kine for another night. [he doesn't say anything about it but that smirk does disappear pretty quickly. what if he just wanted to talk, god.

also he's increasingly uncomfortable with connecting her with that sister label these days. that isn't a fact he likes to dwell much on.

I was just hoping for something a little more interesting than passing boredom, to be honest. Likely concern was off-center from the possibilities a bit, but you can't fault a bloodthirsty undead adolescent for trying.

[oh come on don't be such an oversensitive baby or she'll call herself your sister again in her head]

Off-center is putting it mildly.

[very well then you win this round]

I've been practicing my understatements. I thought it would contrast nicely with the avalanche of prose I usually spout.

[hell yeah that's another one down]

It's jarring, if nothing else. Trying to catch us off guard?

[curses]

Oh, you've found me out. Whatever will I do now that my latest deviant plot has been exposed to the masses?
