Summary: BEACH PARTY

Three days of sun, sand, and complete, unbridled fun--that was what Kiden had advertised, and she'd delivered. The slice of bright blue beach Nida had found for them stretched on one side into cliffs and a cove on the other, sheltered enough to be easily defensible but open enough not to make them targets. If they felt like exploring, well, the wildlife wasn't too much of a hassle, and apparently the jungle is lovely?

They had tents, food and drinks (lots of drinks) and plenty of other interesting things to last for the next three days--and Kiden, for one, was planning to make the most of it.

[Mikuru may have taken forever to put up her tent and been too embarrassed to ask for help. So she's a bit behind, giggling as Zak runs at the water.

[She follows him at a much more sedate pace. Still in her kaftan and sunhat, she comes up to the edge of the water and sticks one foot in. Feels kinda cold, man.]

[Try telling Zak it's cold. He hasn't noticed, face first in the water and splashing around like a dog. At least he's far out enough that he can't splash her.

...not that he really would.]

[Slowly, apparently. She puts both feet in the water, standing there for a moment to get used to the temperature, then goes back to the sand to take off her kaftan and hat and put them safely on a towel.

See, the water's fine! It'll be fun! Though I should've found a ball of some sort, maybe. [He blinks for a moment at this, and then, just shrugs.]

[Next impulse: giving Mikuru a one armed hug out of nowhere! JUST WHAT IS HE DOING? Clearly he doesn't even know either, letting a wave take him out to submerge in the water.

Maybe he needs to hide the fact that his face is all red?]

[Mikuru is so surprised by the sudden hug that she almost falls over, and definitely doesn't have time to try and return it. Not that she objects to it; she's just surprised! So when Zak drifts out, she takes a deep breath to steel herself to swim after him. She may have passed her swimming class in her first quarter, but this is her first time in open water since being thrown in by mind controlled high schoolers.]

[Zak will just be all deer-in-headlights over here. Because one, he didn't expect that out of himself, and two, well.

Come on, he doesn't honestly think any girl would be okay with that out of him. Social skill: about 0, after all...]

[And splashes him in the face, laughing. Hey, that's what you do with friends in water, right? It's what she used to do at home, at least.]
