PARTY LIKE A ROCK STAR

Character(s): ERRYBODY (who signed up! ...or who wants to come, just tag in guys s'all good)

Location: UP IN HERE (aka the beach in Galbadia)

Rating: THROUGH THE ROOF (G to R)

Open/Closed/Finished: OPEN LIKE A MINIBAR

Summary: BEACH PARTY

Three days of sun, sand, and complete, unbridled fun--that was what Kiden had advertised, and she'd delivered. The slice of bright blue beach Nida had found for them stretched on one side into cliffs and a cove on the other, sheltered enough to be easily defensible but open enough not to make them targets. If they felt like exploring, well, the wildlife wasn't too much of a hassle, and apparently the jungle is lovely?

They had tents, food and drinks (lots of drinks) and plenty of other interesting things to last for the next three days--and Kiden, for one, was planning to make the most of it.

[nope, Rose is event clean! although she has her Sburb powers still, which I think the only one of those you'd have to worry about is her pseudo-xray vision]

Well enough? How vague. I'm almost prompted to disbelieve you with an answer like that.

[Oh lordy, Japan will just pretend nothing is wrong...]

Ah.. It has been an interesting time, so I have tried not to go out too much...

[the best part? she doesn't even know she can do that shit yet hahaha]

I suppose that means you're not exactly raring to wade through the flood of students dealing with new and unfamiliar preternatural abilities.

T-that is one way of putting it. [Oh gosh. gdkfjgdfk but he gives a glance to the large group of people with a sigh.]

It is so noisy... I would like to be back home.

There are moments when being forced to deal with such a large number of utter strangers can be utterly tiring. [she smiles a little and taps her book]

It's much easier to deal with when you set yourself apart and simply watch what unfolds from a distance. Easier, and more amusing.

Perhaps so. Still, it is difficult when it approaches me so often...

Don't you know how to shoo them away? It's quite simple.

[identity profile] bookshrew.livejournal.com 2011-09-18 01:14 pm (UTC)(link)
Simply speak in a way that unsettles them, be it overly ornamented prose or disconcertingly true statements about the inner workings of their mind. People tend to shy away from such things, I've found.

[identity profile] asideglance.livejournal.com 2011-09-19 10:16 pm (UTC)(link)
...Do they? [Apparently that doesn't work on Japan...]

[identity profile] bookshrew.livejournal.com 2011-09-19 10:34 pm (UTC)(link)
It's what I've found in my experiences. [a small shrug]

[identity profile] asideglance.livejournal.com 2011-09-20 12:05 am (UTC)(link)
...

I am not sure if I can do such a thing.

[identity profile] bookshrew.livejournal.com 2011-09-20 12:25 am (UTC)(link)
It's not terribly difficult to sound as if you've swallowed a dictionary. I do it on a regular basis.

[identity profile] asideglance.livejournal.com 2011-09-20 12:46 am (UTC)(link)
...Is this a common Western method?

[identity profile] bookshrew.livejournal.com 2011-09-20 01:02 am (UTC)(link)
I seem to be the only one who thinks it's a worthwhile trait to pick up, outside of my twin.

[identity profile] asideglance.livejournal.com 2011-09-22 05:06 am (UTC)(link)
Perhaps you are simply best at it.

[identity profile] bookshrew.livejournal.com 2011-09-22 11:09 am (UTC)(link)
I certainly won't dispute that fact, but it's still something anyone can at the very least attempt to pick up for themselves.
