Summary: BEACH PARTY

Three days of sun, sand, and complete, unbridled fun--that was what Kiden had advertised, and she'd delivered. The slice of bright blue beach Nida had found for them stretched on one side into cliffs and a cove on the other, sheltered enough to be easily defensible but open enough not to make them targets. If they felt like exploring, well, the wildlife wasn't too much of a hassle, and apparently the jungle is lovely?

They had tents, food and drinks (lots of drinks) and plenty of other interesting things to last for the next three days--and Kiden, for one, was planning to make the most of it.

[Thank the Light he's actually used to talking animals. He raises an eyebrow and smirks.]

Heh, easy. [And he dives down completely and resurfaces with a slightly bigger, wiggling fish in his hands.]

[ This one's gonna take him a little longer but he emerges with TWO of the same size as he got earlier... but promptly gets slapped in the face by one before having to let go of them both. ]

[Riku looks contemplative for only a moment and lowers an arm out to him to climb onto, in case he wants to get out of the water.] Spunk, huh? And here I thought I lost most of it.

Are you here on your own, or are you a student?

[ And he's more than happy to scamper up his arm after giving a little shake. ]



[ Ras does a little wave with one paw at a short figure who seems to be grumbling about a tent peg and does a little hesitant wave back before going back to hammering. ]

[And Riku's totally comfy having him up on his shoulder.

He feels a little awkward seeing her wave, but at least it would probably put her at ease to know that her partner's with a friendly face, so Riku raises a hand in greeting.]

I take it you're both from the same world, then.

[Now to be careful with his movements so he doesn't fall off.] That's good. It helps to have someone familiar.

[Heh, 'island boy'. That gets a smile out of him, even if it is a little somber.] At home, when I was younger. My friend and I would often have competitions off the beaches there. Fishing with a rod is handy, but it's a lot of fun to do it by hand too.

[A pause, and he looks over at him, eyebrow raised. He's not insulted, but just curious.] Do I really look like I'm from an island that much?
