Three days of sun, sand, and complete, unbridled fun--that was what Kiden had advertised, and she'd delivered. The slice of bright blue beach Nida had found for them stretched on one side into cliffs and a cove on the other, sheltered enough to be easily defensible but open enough not to make them targets. If they felt like exploring, well, the wildlife wasn't too much of a hassle, and apparently the jungle is lovely?
They had tents, food and drinks (lots of drinks) and plenty of other interesting things to last for the next three days--and Kiden, for one, was planning to make the most of it.

Okay well first of all, that's a beach umbrella. [Points to another student's.] It keeps the sun from beating down on you all day. Think along the lines of sitting under a tree for shade.
Second of all, though using a lot of sunscreen is a good idea, you have to rub it in for it to do anything. It's like any other lotion.
Third of all... [She debates telling him but better her than say... Kiden, right?] boxers aren't swim trunks.
