Summary: BEACH PARTY

Three days of sun, sand, and complete, unbridled fun--that was what Kiden had advertised, and she'd delivered. The slice of bright blue beach Nida had found for them stretched on one side into cliffs and a cove on the other, sheltered enough to be easily defensible but open enough not to make them targets. If they felt like exploring, well, the wildlife wasn't too much of a hassle, and apparently the jungle is lovely?

They had tents, food and drinks (lots of drinks) and plenty of other interesting things to last for the next three days--and Kiden, for one, was planning to make the most of it.

Do vigilantes in your world kill people? ...And you guys still have sidekicks?

Pretty much. Maybe a week or two apart, but otherwise total newbies. [Looks up at the sky.] It's weird how so many people seem to be content to be stuck here. Like they don't want to go home...

I'm kind of indifferent. ... My mentor is here, so nothing of loss back home, but he doesnt know me here so either way it doesn't matter.

We have vigilantes too, but no sidekicks. The only sidekick I can think of sort of died in World War II...

I'd heard people could come from different times, but the only person who seems to be from my world I've never heard of before... That really sucks, I'm sorry.

Well everyone thought Bucky died... in a very brutal way. It turned out he didn't die after all, but everyone only found out many years later.

[Nods.] Definitely. That's the hardest part, I'd think, so now you can focus on getting to know each other again...

[ She nods her head to her words and rolls up her pants a little. ]

[Debates whether or not to tell her. On the one hand, her secret identity is secret for a reason, but on the other hand her father wasn't around and as far as she knew there was only one other person in the garden from her world--or a world like hers. And the masked girl has told her she was some sort of hero too...]

...Yeah. Just don't tell anyone--I think someone from my world is here.

[ She makes a zipping lips motion with her fingers. The girl didn't seem to happy with telling her about it, so Sasha wasn't going to say anything. It'd be kind of rude.]

Thanks, it's sort of a secret back home. I mean normally I wouldn't care, but I don't know this other person, and I'd rather when we get back it wouldn't get out.

There's a fine line between creative and stating the obvious. [Says the girl that named her speedster teammate "Speed."] Let me guess--he wears a red hood.
